With platforms like IG and Tik Tok, fast-paced clips keep you looking through 100s of videos, and you realize you’ve been looking at your phone for 3 hours and haven’t put the damn dishes away or started the laundry. What also came with those platforms is what we know is called influencers, someone that has a lot of followers and they might not have and is gifted or paid by companies to take about their products ( here we are talking about wine) A lot but not all use this as leverage to ask for free items YES! I am solicited all the time asking for FREE wine in return; they talk and or drink your label and share it with their followers. You would think it’s a win-win. ? Well, maybe not. Since the product is free or they have a paid partnership, they will not tell the full truth; if they talked badly about the product, the producer wouldn’t send them free wine again. At the end of the day, know the difference between someone who produces an item vs. someone who talks about an item, and this goes for many different things. Get your information from the source.
